Book made on behalf of Carmen Balcells with Gonzalo García Barcha as the art director of the editorial ‘Carnets de Peintre’. Jose Diaz worked as the editor and Victoria Rabal was involved in the manufacturing of the handmade paper in Capellades Paper Mill.
The intent of this project was to publish an art book based on the notebook of Miquel Barceló in the year 2002-2003.
The sketchbook images have been reproduced with different procedures of earliest printing as the blueprint, the phototype, the chromolitography etc. to achieve the truest possible reproduction of the original. The impression was run by the Imprimerie Nationale of Paris.
The applied typography Pradell, a Latin text family inspired from 18th century spanish type specimens, was redesigned by Andreu Balius.

Libro elaborado por encargo de Carmen Balcells con Gonzalo García Barcha, director de la editorial Carnets de Peintre. Colaboraron José Díaz como editor y Victoria Rabal en la manufactura del papel hecho a mano en el Molino Paperer de Capellades. La intención de este proyecto fue editar un libro de autor basado en la libreta de apuntes que hizo Miquel Barceló en el año 2002-2003.
Las imágenes del libro de apuntes han sido reproducido con diferentes procedimientos de impresión antiguas como la heliografía, la phototipia , la chromolithografía etc, para conseguir una reproducción la más fiel posible al original. La impresión fue a cargo de la Imprimerie Nationale en Paris.
Se aplicó la tipografía Pradell, rediseñado por Andreu Balius.
